Neighbors for a Greener Harlem cultivates interdependence between the residents of Morningside Gardens and Grant Houses by supporting sustainable practices to improve our quality of life and foster a more inclusive neighborhood.

 

Founded in 1996 as the Morningside Heights/West Harlem Sanitation Coalition, Inc by Joan Levine and Gloria Allen and is currently co-chaired by Mara Tucker and Darryl Ambrose.
